The assistant sits beside the timeline in Shotz. You tell it what you want, in the words you’d use with a friend, and it makes the change where you can see it.
What you can ask
“Make it 30 seconds.” “Cut the bit where I’m talking to the waiter.” “Add captions, big and yellow.” “Find a shot of the dog.” Each request becomes real edits on the timeline, not a new video you have to start again from.
Do“Tighten the middle, it drags.”
Don’tScrub through every clip looking for the slow bit.
Undo is one step
Every change the assistant makes is one step in your history. If you don’t like it, undo it, or ask for something different. Nothing is locked in.
It knows your clips
When you upload, Shotz looks at what’s in each clip: faces, places, speech, the moment the light changed. That’s how it can find “the sunset” without you tagging anything.
